OUR APPROACH

‘I didn’t know I was addicted until I tried to stop’ is a common theme amongst many addicts, coming to this realisation can be a scary place to find yourself in. It can also be the start of your understanding that you need help. The help you may need is why we founded The Dynamo Project.

Our approach to offering this help is detailed in our name, DYNAMO; dedicate yourself now and miracles occur. We are not able to do this for you, only you can do it, but you can’t do it alone. In order to live free from active addiction you will face the biggest battle yet, this will not be with the substance you take, it will be a battle in your mind. Know that the voices in your head that tell you that you’re worthless and that you won’t amount to anything are not real. We will support you as best we can to keep reiterating this. And remember, if you believe in yourself, you can do it. And when you are struggling, come to us as we believe in you, unwaveringly. We truly believe we can help achieve positive futures for both addicts and the families also affected by addiction.

We are not here to tell you what to do. Within our team, we have been affected by addiction and have been where you are. We can only share our experiences and share with you how we remain free from active addiction. We are here to help, support and care about you as best we can. Recovering addicts are the best people to help fellow addicts. Any addict can get clean; it’s staying clean where you will find out who you are, what’s possible for you and have a life free from active addiction. This is what we call RECOVERY.
